The Wizard of Oz a Smash Hit with AISHK Community 2018/07/19 Updated

The AISHK community was showcased at its very best last weekend during the performances of this year’s musical ‘The Wizard of Oz’.

Superbly directed by Graeme Tyler and assisted by many staff and parents, with over 80 students from Year 4 to Year 12 involved, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ showcased the incredible talent of both our AISHK students and staff.

Each of the audiences at the four outstanding performances were spellbound by the quality of the singing, dancing acting, musicianship, the costumes, the choreography, the set design and the special effects.

Congratulations to all of the students, staff and parents who were involved in the production in any way. Thank you also to all the members of the AISHK community who showed their support by attending the performances.

This is another excellent example of our wonderful AISHK family in action, and the value and importance we place on Performing Arts at our school as an opportunity for our students to flourish.

For a musical of this quality and magnitude, to be such a resounding success, it needs the support of the whole school community and we certainly saw this demonstrated last weekend.

Well done and thank you!
