[Event Recap] AISHK to Participate in Preserve Planet Earth Forum 2019/05/03 Updated

On Saturday 4 May, AISHK was the venue host for the 2019 Preserve Planet Earth Forum (run by the Rotary Club). The theme of this year’s focused on ways that we can reduce waste for the benefit of our planet.

The Preserve Planet Earth Forum aims to educate citizens into taking positive actions to make a difference to our environment both locally and globally.

The expert lineup of industry experts discussed the issue of waste from various perspectives and proposed solutions for us to consider.

AISHK students presented their individual topics with confidence, to provide their insights onto the topic and to share the school’s recent changes to waste of energy, plastic, paper and energy. Speaking industry panellists, our students emphasised the power young people have in making positive changes, demonstrating superb public speaking skills, school citizenship and a meaningful contribution to the school and wider community. The following AISHK students and representatives spoke at the event:
Mariko Walsh
Bridie Benfield
