Peter and The Wolf 2012/07/26 Updated

On the 20 and 21 June, the AISHK community was taken on an enchanting ride through the forest during AISHK’s production of Peter and The Wolf. Peter and the Wolf, the story of a young boy who ventures out into the forest to take on a wily and very hungry wolf, with the help of his friends the Cat, the Bird and the Duck, featured polished performances from many of the school’s budding actors, singers and musicians.

The AISHK school orchestra performed the original music of the Russian composor Sergei Prokofiev and was joined by a troupe of actors who played the main characters in the story. With an original script and songs performed by the Primary Choir and the Secondary Vocal Ensemble, this stage production, involving over 140 students from Year 3 through to Year 12 will surely go down as one of AISHK’s best.
