AISHK PA Celebrates World Teacher’s Day! 2020/10/05 Updated
World Teachers’ Day 2020
At AISHK the PA would like to acknowledge and celebrate World Teachers’ Day during the week beginning Monday 5 October! Teachers not only help in our children’s learning but are instrumental in the development of our society as a whole, forming the next generation of leaders. World Teachers’ Day is an opportunity for us to thank Primary and Secondary teaching staff from homeroom teachers and assistants to specialist teachers, for all their hard work. This year, albeit unique, our teachers did an exceptional job mastering the use of many online platforms, preparing amazing home resource packs, and were able to create a unique and special bond with all of our children even though miles apart.
Thank You Cards | 5 – 9 October
From 5 – 9 October, during school hours, Thank You cards and a drop-box will be available on the Sports Terrace outside the 1st Floor Cafeteria. Students can write a personalised message or draw a picture on these cards for their homeroom teacher, teacher assistants, and specialist teachers. Primary and Secondary student leaders will be on hand to assist students with this. The notes will be collected each day and delivered to the according teachers on Monday 12 October. For any parents who wish to assist their child in printing and preparing a card ahead of time for submission during next week, please click to download the card templates which are available in Yellow, Pink, Blue and Green. Thank you to parent, Judith Davison, for designing and creating these wonderful templates!
Morning Tea From The PA
On Monday 5 October, there will be some tasty treats delivered to school and made available for staff as a gesture of thanks from the PA on behalf of the AISHK parent community.
Finally, on behalf of all the AISHK community the Parent Association would like to thank our teachers for their wisdom, resilience, positivity, and support over the last year.
