School Transport

AISHK offers a bus service through which is provided by Kwoon Chung Motors Co Ltd. which covers the following areas:

Hong Kong Island Kowloon New Territories
Pok Fu Lam, Shouson Hill, Hong Kong Parkview,
Mid-Levels, Wanchai, Taikoo Shing, Braemar Hill, Happy Valley, Jardine’s Lookout
Tsim Sha Tsui, Tai Kok Tsui

Morning service only for Homantin, Hung Hom, Lamtin

Sai Kung, Clearwater Bay

Drop-off service only for Siu Lam, Gold Coast

Each bus is 24-seater minibus with air-conditioning and a designated supervisor.

Buses will pick up students at various times between 6:40am and 7:50am each applicable school day and are scheduled to arrive at the school between 7:55am - 8:00am. All buses for the return trip will depart from the school at 3:00pm sharp.

Details including the latest bus schedule, pick-up and drop-off points, times and fees payable, will be provided to parents during the Admissions process. 


Food & Catering

Students may bring their own food to school or purchase options from varied and healthy selection of meals and refreshments provided by a certified catering service. 

Onsite outlets at AISHK include:

The Cafeteria, available to students from Prep to Year 12 and serves three meal choices per day. Parents may pre-order and select meals for Primary students whilst Secondary students can select and purchase choices themselves on the day.

The Walkabout Café sells hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, baked goods, fruit and other snacks. Primary students may only purchase from this venue under adult supervision, after school.

The Billabong Tuck Shop sells a range of sandwiches, drinks and snack items, including some hot items. This venue is not open to Early Childhood students at recess time. Early Childhood students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack from home.


School Uniform

Our school is unique in Hong Kong, and the AISHK is uniform has been designed to reflect this. It is distinctive, vibrant and designed with a trans-seasonal approach to cater to Hong Kong’s varying weather throughout the year. A number of optional uniform items are also available should families wish to purchase them. We believe that embracing the AISHK brand though our uniform builds a sense of school pride and community. All students are required to wear the approved school uniform every day, as applicable to their division of the school.

Library

With over 32,000 physical books and resources, 850 eBooks and audiobooks and an average of 30 books per student, the AISHK Library is an innovative hub for curricular learning, a quiet space for study and an invaluable resource for students and staff. AISHK parents are also welcome to borrow resources from the Library by contacting library@aishk.edu.hk

Health and Safety

AISHK is dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of students. A registered school nurse is employed and on-site full time during the school term. 24-hour security guards are on-site to ensure AISHK is a safe school environment, with visitor registration required upon entry into the school grounds.
