For Students Entering Year 9,10 or 11 in 2023
AISHK delivers an international and Australian curriculum which culminates in the NSW Higher School Certificate or the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The academic results of AISHK students are among the best in Hong Kong, Australia and around the world.
Eligibility
Applications are now sought for a limited number of academic entrance scholarships, for students who wish to enter Year 9, 10 or 11 in 2023 (between 14-17 years of age).
We understand the applicants may currently be studying a different curriculum, therefore, students who have been awarded the scholarship may commence in either Term 1 or Term 3 of 2023.
Students must demonstrate fluency in English to be offered a scholarship. AISHK also seeks students with high academic ability, a proven commitment to school life and a strong sense of community spirit.
The academic scholarships will be allocated after the completion of a scholarship examination. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview. Scholarships will be awarded to students considered to have high academic potential, who will benefit substantially by attending the School, and who will in turn make a significant contribution to the academic and other life of the School. Commitment to extra-curricular activities may be taken into account.
All scholarship holders will be expected to demonstrate academic progress in keeping with their abilities and to take a full and constructive part in the life of the School in the areas of their interests, aptitudes and abilities.
Fee Discount
Students awarded a scholarship will receive a 50% - 100% discount on school fees.
Duration
Once awarded, scholarships will cover years up to and including Year 12, subject to progress and good conduct. Scholarship recipients must participate in an annual review interview.
