Role Statement:
As part of the Advancement and Communications team, your role will assist the school in securing its future by cultivating deep philanthropic partnerships and energising a global alumni network that directly leads to capital growth and enriches teaching and learning. You will build deep and meaningful relationships with major donors, corporate donors and alumni.
The Community Advancement Manager will raise philanthropic income to support capital projects and scholarships.
As the Community Advancement Manager, you are the architect of engagement. You translate the school’s ambitious vision into compelling "cases for support," bridging the gap between AISHK’s friends and partners and its donors. Your role is to move prospects from initial connection to lifelong investment.
Reporting: Works within the Advancement and Communications team under the Director.

Fundraising Management

- Build and grow a scholarship fundraising program, including:
- Developing compelling cases for support
- Identifying potential scholarship donors

- Stewarding donors to sustain and expand scholarship funds
- Relationship stewardship – be the main point of contact for the schools’ partners and friends such as the Australian Chamber and the Consulate and other key groups and associations. Maintain strong, trusting relationships and ensure partners feel informed, appreciated, and engaged in the mission.
Alumni Management
- Create an alumni engagement program, motivating our global network of graduates to engage with their alma mater.
- Facilitate meaningful networking opportunities among current students, staff, and alumni, including alumni to alumni engagement.
- Schedule and host alumni tours and visits to campus.
- Manage and enrich the alumni database, including the lifecycle onboarding to transition graduating Year 12 classes into the alumni fold in partnership with teaching staff to ensure a seamless “student-support journey”.
- Execute alumni communications in coordination with the Director of Advancement and Communications (including alumni newsletter and publications).
Events
- Manage a successful series of annual donor and alumni events in Australia and Hong Kong. Ensure strong attendance and drive event-based fundraising when applicable.
- Design and send mass broadcast emails and invitations. Leveraging tools and digital marketing platforms to produce professional-grade invitations and feature stories.
- Support occasional evening and weekend events.

Working Arrangements:
Working hours will be Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am to 4:30pm, 40 hrs pw with ½ hour lunch break, full time working hours, with 20 days of holiday taken in school holiday periods, as agreed with the Head of Finance and Operations.
Flexible working arrangements and out of school hours attendance at school functions and events may also be required from time to time. Time worked out of the normal hours will be offset by a time in lieu or pre-approved payment arrangement upon submission of a timesheet.

Role Statement:
The Arts Specialist reports to the Head of Primary and works collaboratively with the Deputy Heads of Primary to deliver an outstanding Arts programme to Reception to Year 6 students within the school. This role involves close liaison with the Head of Performing Arts and other visual arts and performing arts teaching staff.
Teaching Allocation
This position will hold teaching responsibilities for the Arts curriculum areas within the primary program.

Role Statement:
The Arts Co-ordinator for Primary reports to the Head of Primary and the Head of Performing Arts (P-12) and works collaboratively with the primary teaching team to ensure that The Arts pedagogy, co-curricular and extra-curricular program and initiatives across the primary curriculum are of a high standard, creative, vibrant and well organised.
Teaching and Pedagogical Leadership Duties:
This role is a Positions of Leadership (POL) and will include full-time teaching and pedagogical leadership duties. This will be determined by the Head of Primary and Head of Performing Arts annually. This position will also receive a time allowance and a monthly monetary allowance of $$5,047 (Monetary Allowance Scale Level 3, Step 2).
