It was with great joy that the performing arts department were able to present our first “live” showcase concert at the end of Term 2. The last “live” showcase concert was back in 2019, although we have done several videoed and in-house events since that time. The 2022 showcase featured musicians from across our Orchestra, string ensemble, vocal ensemble and rock bands as well as incorporating some drama from our Year 9 and 10 students and other soloists and small groups. The event was wonderfully emceed by Silvia Lee and Tamsyn Allen (Year 7).   The concert was watched by many of the secondary students who were not engaged in paid-for Friday afternoon activities. This was a great opportunity for them to see some of their peers in action on the stage as musicians and actors. A video of the concert has been included below for your enjoyment.
