Sport

AISHK sees sport as a key facet in fostering student wellbeing and enhancing physical skills and wellbeing.  An avenue to build rapport and develop lasting friendships, sport also demonstrates to students the importance of developing life skills such as teamwork and leadership.

AISHK’s overriding approach to sport at school is to encourage all students to “give it a go” regardless of their skill level, and to strive for their personal best. Our students, staff and parents all embrace this ethos.

Within the School, our PDHPE curriculum caters to students from Early Childhood to Year 12. The regular, varied and engaging programme promotes not only physical fitness, but a healthy approach to mindfully attaining a well-rounded lifestyle.

In the wider community, AISHK embraces competitive sport, representing the School through our strong affiliation with a number of local and international sporting clubs and associations including:

  • Association of International Schools in Asia (AISA)
  • Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS)
  • Hong Kong school sports Federation (HKSSF)
  • International Schools Sports Federation Hong Kong (ISSFHK)

Our extensive Extra Curricular Activities programme also offers a vast array of sporting activities available outside of school hours.
